I don't know how many readers here out of the regular 300-500 are Kinki Kids fans if at all. But the fact that you are here means you are going to be brainwashed by me with everything Kinki Kids.  So today, if you have time, please click on these youtube links before they disappear and are removed by youtube. These are fan camera clips of Koichi's recent Mirror concert performances. I once commented that Koichi has turned his music cells off when he composed the song SNAKE and I'll take it back.  It is a good song especially when I see him singing it without moving too much except slipping his jacket off. No, the emphasis is not on the slipping off of the jacket, although it adds to it...haha...but that he could actually sing a rather monotonous toned melody as such. Of course you have to understand that I have translated the lyrics to this song and his standing there singing it so plainly is totally out of my expectation because the lyricists gave him totally X-rated lyrics to sing from the moment of contact with a girl down to the snake... Even he wondered if it was not too much in terms of lyrics but he went along with it because that was how the lyricists perceived his music.

This Japanese fan has made some interesting artwork of Koichi. I'm not sure how many are just digitally manipulated but some of them are labeled pencil, oil painting, or watercolor.  Nevertheless, they are very pretty. Sigh...another Tsuyoshi solo song. Can't get enough of his voice. Very soon I would have translated the entire F Album at my forum.  Tsuyoshi composed and wrote the lyrics to this song.  When I read Tsuyoshi's lyrics, I could feel the emotion in the words.  Tsuyoshi in general is more into feelings. I was translating the Oricon Style August 7 magazine Q&A today after reading the main Koichi parts and I feel that Koichi, while caring towards Tsuyoshi, is a very rational being. When he doesn't have anything to say, he wouldn't beautify it for the ears and eyes of the audience.  For some, he might sound cold and unfeeling but if we only understand he lives by the day as it comes and many things are not all within his control, we would not judge him by these interviews.   Tsuyoshi is on the other hand more expressive with his feelings no matter where he is.

I don't usually post these here but you all have to watch this table tennis match between Kinki Kids and Utaban.  I have never seen a deadlier Tsuyoshi cheeky as he was and winking at the audience purposely.  Perhaps I haven't seen enough of him but this one was enough to convince me that once upon a time he must have been quite a tease.  If I were a fan of his in every sense of the word, I would have smothered this posting with all kinds of faint buttons and love emocions.  I want to...but I don't want to get into the habit of loving a young Tsuyoshi that doesn't look the same anymore.  But *gasp*...this clip does make me faint. I couldn't even see Koichi's existence.   Sigh...perhaps next time, you would see more red hearts in postings about his young self...perhaps...perhaps not...depends on how strong willed I am...haha...

I have been looping this Kinki Kids F Album song all day and finds it very romantic. But of course tonight after I translated it, I realized it is actually supposed to be a sad song. Nevertheless, still very pretty. Tsuyoshi's voice is begging, begging for love...sigh...so pretty. How I melt at his voice. And then after a long time, Koichi's sweet voice comes in....sigh!!!  Even if you are not a Kinki Kids' fan, you should seriously click on this link and listen to it once.  Perhaps you would like them too after this song.

This song is the theme song of 金田一少年の事件簿 KINDAICHI SHOUNEN NO JIKEMBO of Tsuyoshi and is from the Kinki Kids A Album track 7 - Tsuyoshi's own solo.  I really like the song and I really like Tsuyoshi's voice even from these early albums.  Koichi's voice by comparison was wobbly until the E Album.  I haven't dared watch Tsuyoshi's younger dramas yet, not even this very popular Kindaichi one. I don't dare because I am afraid I would fall in love with the younger Tsuyoshi deeper than Koichi and Junichi. In 人間・失格 NINGEN SHIKAKU, I was already totally overwhelmed by Tsuyoshi's performance and watching recently LAST PRESENT, I gulped.  Such a fine actor. My reluctance probably stems from my aversion to his facial hair and his increased weight. I know Tsuyoshi fans would not like what I say but I would say it nevertheless. If Tsuyoshi loses some weight, has less fear in his own performance standards and therefore has less panic disorder, he would be a lot happier. Although he is still cute (Man, I don't even want to use that word for a 27 year old), I am more impressed by the looks of young Tsuyoshi. But that aside, I love Tsuyoshi's music. I browse through 10-20 songs everyday to find something I could recommend to readers and at the end of it all, I turn on Tsuyoshi's music. Sigh....if he were as handsome as his younger days, I would have dropped the whole forum and concentrate on only translating Tsuyoshi's writings, songs and dramas.  He affects me the same way as young Goro Inagaki of SMAP did only that Tsuyoshi is an even better actor and better singer.  I don't want to love an idol that "has been" handsome once. Not again.  It hurts to see Goro gets old.  It hurts to see Koichi and Junichi get older!  And it hurts even more when Tsuyoshi's music is so ingrained in me these days and I don't dare to love him.  (Yes, call me shallow. I like only good looking ones only.)

Don't believe what some Koichi fans write that Koichi and Nagase are in love with each other.  Nagase loves Ayumi and one day they would get married as the taxi cab driver dad of Nagase said.  Nagase and Ayumi were just spotted coming back from vacation from Los Angeles amid rumors that their five years relationship is dying. I refuse to accept a Koichi with bearded face. A prince is a prince and he could not look downtrodden, drifter-like like his partner no matter how much I like his partner's music. Koichi just can't have beard or facial hair on his face.  I feel much better after venting out in a fictitious newspaper article but I need to beautify this place with his clean shaven look.  I already have lost the good looking Goro Inagaki to age and I don't want Koichi to look aged yet.  So readers, excuse me, but I am going to flood this post with bigger pix.

I have just finished watching F concert and totally enjoyed it.  The costumes are of course outlandish as usual but it is definitely much more lively than Anniversary concert. I love the parts when they switched songs and they had to imitate each other. Very funny. Yeah, can't imagine Tsuyoshi dancing Koichi's part and of course...Koichi can't do Dekai Logic.

In Tsuyoshi's drama Gakku no Sensei / ガッコの先生, he sang a song called Looking at the Starry Sky / 見上げてごらん夜の星を / Miagetegoran yoru no hoshiwo. Why am I writing about it when I haven't even watched the series?  Because I have been vetting my computer of all the songs that I don't want and after a few weeks of Tsuyoshi's singing, I am even chucking out all the Ken Hirai, Fukuyama Masaharu, Gackt, Koji Tamaki, Hyde songs.  I am now combing through everyone of Kinki Kid's album to find Tsuysoshi's solos and this is the first one I found today and I find his rendition superior to the several artists I find online. You could compare their singing.

I've just watched Tsuyoshi's Last Present last night. Man, 1/4 through, I was already crying all the way almost to the end. Loved Tsuyoshi's performance. Yep, didn't think he would make a mature husband and he played the role well. So this one was a remake of a Korean drama by the same name starring Lee Young Ae and The story is about Tsuyoshi who was struggling to become a comedian but was not getting anywhere. His estranged wife in the meantime was suffering from a terminal illness.
