Koichi Domoto at Monza, Italy 2002

Thanks to usami chan for providing the radio rip. This is the first of the Mirror album of Koichi's that's heard tonight on Donnamoya. When I listened to the first few seconds, I could already imagine Koichi breaking into a vigorous dance. But what follows was incredibly his voice full of longing! Every single tone is full of his emotion in it. The more I listen to it with headphones, the more I feel he is a great singer able to translate his emotions in songs AND dance. I have not stopped smiling while looping this song for the last hour and I am totally incapacitated in making any further attempts to translate or surf for other things. I just want to lavish in these two minutes of his voice and imagine him dancing to it. He is what I called the luxury of living. Sigh!!!!

As a new fan of Kinki Kids, I have always wondered why the fans kept talking about them being pink (meaning loving each other). I thought they were gay when I read comments. Thanks to baidu.com BBS, I finally found a good 20 articles that explains it. You could read them here in Chinese.

This song I listened to and watched on line and it's very sad. I read from a blog that Tsuyoshi actually cried in one of his concerts when he sang this song. Sigh....I wonder if this was about the love he once had. Prolonged listening to this song is very haunting. ![]()

Koichi's concerts have just been increased to 27 performances over 8 cities.

I can't believe what I was watching on youtube when I saw the Chinese lyrics. I think I will buy the Taiwan version also after all...I am speechless. When I was in Japantown, the first thing I did was rush to the Japanese bookstore, Kinokuniya. Bliss. I sent my kids to find their souvenir while my eyes did sweep searches for Koichi Domoto's images. Waah!! My heart was beating so fast when I spotted him on a few cover magazines. He released his first solo single album last month. Sigh...so happy. My first hardcover of images of Koichi. And to see his and Tsuyoshi's name in other magazines, I swept them in my arms of course as though they were my babies. So here are some of them.
