First Love
His first love took place in kindergarten. At that time he didn’t know what it meant to be fond of someone but a certain girl in his class gives him a good feel. But he would rebel and would even argue with her, played tricks on her. After they moved on to primary school, they went separate ways. This harmless love ended.

The death of his dog
In primary one, Yukata’s elder sister got a mixed breed dog from a friend. Yukata passed over 10 years with the dag and when he was in the first year of high school, the dog passed away. It was a sad time beause the dog was sick and its throat was swollen. The doctor couldn’t help and one cold morning, without a sound the dog fell down. He buried the dog next to the dog house and that sad scene was unforgettable. He didn’t raise another dog for a long time.

Detention
During secondary school, a short girl was quite outstanding and was very popular among the boys. Yukata was one of those who secretly fell in love with her – for 3 years. In the end, he took the courage to tell her. But all she said was, “We better be friends instead.” He felt very hurt but now thinking back, he felt it was not bad to be a friend.

High School
During high school, Yukata was in a high school that placed great emphasis in sports. Many of its teams managed to go on to national competitions. His school was a very famouse school so he had once been in the basketball and gymnastics. Apart from being famous for sports, the school was famouse for very strict rules especially towards female students. For example, the bangs could not cover the eyebrows. Many teachers would purposely go near the female students to examine the bangs and if they were longer, they would cut it for them on the spot. When students resisted, the result was horrible beatings. Some got hit by high heels and their skin bled. The most severe was one teacher who knee kicked his student and he suffered internal injury and had to admitted to the hospital. Even though the press reported it, the school insisted that it was one way of educational displining. Because of the harsh rules, Yukata had no where to expend his anger and sometimes he became very hot tempered. Even though he appeared to be a good student, often he got into trouble just defending himself. He was often ready to explode.

Good Friends
In that school, the most valuable thing was that he made some good friends. At high school, he was a leader and sometimes he could be mischevious and play tricks on others. But a slightly more mature friend of his thought he went too far and would distance himself from Yukata hoping that he would reflect on it. Yukata didn’t understand his intention and got angry instead. After being told by other friends, Yukata was ashamed of himself. Since, they became best friends and in these years, he learnt a lot from this friend. Apart from this friend, he has another companion. His jeep. After work, e liked to relax and drive around to relax and decompress.

Modeling
In 1989, Yukat won the champion for Zassi Dokusho Model Audtion. This was a magazine held poll. Since then he became a professional model. From 1989 to 1994, in those 6 years, Yukata was mostly in the modeling circle. Yukat himself didn’t want to look bad and so he wished to travel more often overseas. Being a model was his first step into the entertainment industry.The years of modeling were his hardest years. He has experienced being unemployed twice. Yukata at that time lived with his family but his father was against his modeling. To keep his dignity, he left the house abruptly and didn’t communicate with them. From them on, he survived on a daily diet of 400 yen worth of food from the convenience store. But one day, he was completely broke. His 1500 yen of savings were nearly all spent on commuting to work. He stood in front of a dispenser machine and wanted to buy a packet of cigarettes but he had only 60 yen. He didn’t have enough money. At that moment, he really felt very sad and he also hated himself that moment. So he stood there and suddenly cried in front of the dispenser machine. After than, he realized that he didn’t have any choice but had to return home. Up till now, whenever he passed by that dispensing machine, that sad scene would replay itself.

Acting life From 1994, he made his first TV drama and became an actor. In 1996, his role in another TV drama won him a new comer award at the 33rd Golden Arrow Hoso Shing jin-sho. Since then, he starred in many idol series.

During the filming of Calmi Cuori appassionati, Kelly Chen was to play the lover of Yukata and they were in Japan for a press conference which attracted over 200 reporters from Hong Kong and Japan.

It was Kelly who was full of life and expression and praised that Yukata was very handsome. Actor
Yamazaki Tsutomu who has worked with me before once wrote me a letter. It said, "To be an actor, it's like walking on a tightrope...." To be honest, this sentence, I think I could understand and yet might not understand....even though it has many interpretations, I am still looking for my explanations. It's very hard. Anyway, it is not the right time for me to use one sentence to describe what is an actor.

Background
I was born in Japan but grew up in 绮玉. 绮玉 has a pretty natural surrounding and when the weather was good, I went fishing very often. I changed my bike into a all terrain bike and go explore and enjoy outdoor activities. Talking about it, I really missed the primary school time. I often get punished by my teachers (laughs), probably because I was too stubborn. Every time I get irritated by others, I would feel bad and I would be very stubborn, not listen to advice, even if my teacher smacked me on my hands. And I wouldn't listen to them, or cry. Now I couldn't even remember what is the name of that very tortuous teacher.


Camera
I like to take photos of street scenes but I would only take photos when I am in a good mood. My favorite photos are those of my primary school days. During the summer vacation, I would go to my favorite teacher's house to play and he would take me to Edo beach to look at the boundless horizon. The scenery was very pretty and I was very touched. I took a photo and it was a very nice photo. It's one of my favorite photo of all that I have taken. Thiking back, I was only in grade 3 back then and could already take good photos. I was quite something. (Laughs).

Doubt
Perhaps I lied too much to my parents because I didn't want them to worry. Occasionally, I would contact them and they would worry about me. At that time, I would tell some white lies to settle them.

Exercise
Even though I go to the gym to exercise, I actually dislike using equipment to exercise. So I like to jump rpope. But I couldn't jump non stop. Jumping for 4-5 minutes is already quite tiring. For me, jump rope is not a game for me.

Food
Recently, I like to eat food from different countries and would always want to try. Sometimes I might even try to cook. What did I cook recently? It's embarrassing. I can't tell. (Laughs). Imagine! When I could cook better, I would let you all know.

Gorgeous (Jackie Chan movie)
I borrowed this tape and watched it at home. When I watch movies, I enjoy it from the perspective of an actor. Recently I could finally forget about work and enjoy the fun of movies. Really happy.

Happening
Recently I have very bad luck. I was in four car accidents. My car is out of order, my company's car is out of orter, the manager's car is out of order, and finally, even the rental car is out of order. They were not intentionally made to malfunction by others, but just car problems. It's most inconvenient. On the highway, because I had to wait for a friend to pick me up, under very hot conditions, I waited for a few hours. But compared to not having a car to ride in, this is not a big deal. Now all the four cars are fixed and I hope my bad luck would end. (Laughs)

Interior Design
I am very particular about interior design. I wouldn't decorate it indisrciminately so in the room, I could not have things just strewn around. I like antique furniture. Everytime I am overseas, I would suddenly go to the furniture store to look around. Japan doesn't have antique shops and even if they do, they are of unreasonable price. But going overseas to look for things is very time consuming. So when I see something I like, even if it is expensive, I would buy it.

Jealously
"I want to star in this role too!" As an actor, I would feel such jealousy. As for love, even if I am jealous, I would not harm others.

Key Person
I think the person who could make me change has not yet appeared. I am a very stubborn person but it appears that recently my burdens have lessened.

Lonely
I am very footloose. Even if I like a person, I would hate to have only one person to be with. Basically I am a person who is afraid of being lonely.

Marriage
In the past I thought that if my career reached a certain stage or a certain goal, I could get married. But recently I think if I could find an ideal mate, I could marry anytime and have kids. I see my elder sister and I understand that marriage would involve a lot of time, money and restrictions. But even so, in the end, I would stand with my thingking. Compared to time, money and to be able to achieve what I wish for, it would be a blessing and happiness.

If asked what I could not live without, it would be cars. Apart from needing it for work, when I couldn't sleep, I could take it out for a drive. But I am most afraid of traffic jams. If I see busy traffic, I would turn around and go home.

My hottest item is my motorbike. Motorbike is different from a car. I don't use it instead of walking. When in a good mood, I would ride a motorbike mostly and I would feel very happy.

Parents
Incredible! I don't know why every time when I am down, my parents would call me. They said that in their mind an image of me looking very troubled would surface. It has happened three times already and it really surprised me.

Question
I have questions about many things. About girls? When I see a girl with heavy makeup, and she seems to enjoy putting it on, I really don't understand. Does it look good?

Reincarnation
If I could choose, my next life I would like to be a bird. That way, I could escape the reality of humankind. As a human, there bound to be the thought of "If I could do that it would be even better", and then wishing to do it all over again.

Schedule
Even though I don't wake up too easily, but I have two alarm clocks. So I could say I do wake up on time (laughs). As for sleeping, it's more difficult. But after going to the gym and workout, it is easier to fall asleep.


Treasure
The treasure in my mind is not an object. For me, my treasure is my family, friends and people around me. As for work, I do not regard it as treasure. Because I am afraid of being alone, I like to be with friends. Of course private time is important too but I don't need to pass that time alone. For example, I could spend it with my girlfriend or family. I really treasure human relationships. Apart from that, I have another treasure. That's my dream. What dreams? I can't tell you! (laughs)

Update
I've just finished making the TV series Manatsu no Merry Christmas and what is important is not the beginning and the end of the story, but the development of the story. Everyone usually emphasises the ending but I hope the audience would pay attention to the development of the plot, the reason for the ending and notice the entire shooting. Isn't life like that too? The most important is not birth or death, but the way you live in your existence, the things you have done. So I hope you would all pay attention to the development of the story.

Vacation
After making The World of Ice, I haven't worked for a year but looked up my friends, watched movies, exercised. I spent my days like a normal person. Although I don't mind travelling, but this vacation, I do not plan to travel. But I noticed that during this vacation, I see myself growing, and could consider fewer things. How should I say it? For joggers, or sports program, and every small thing that adds up, if there is too much, I want to shove them all in the closet. That's how I feel right now.

Want
I want a lot of things still. (laughs) But if I have to choose one, I wish I would have a warm family for myself.
