In my travel to Guangzhou many years ago when I was on an architectural photography trip, I saw villages along streams. Have always wanted to paint one. This one I am practicing on making roofs. It was a huge spread along with pagoda and fields and bamboo groves but the bamboo groves were like fragmented bones in my overzealous attempt. The pagoda looked lop sided. The fields were amateurish. And like any good photographer, I cropped it. It was a pen sketch only but to add some colors to it, I used my graphics program. I like the flat plain two color one here



much more than a colored one.
