涙のリクエスト by The Checkers and TOKI-KIN

OMG, I was screaming tonight when I was looking through the Nagase Tomoya solo clips and came across this one Toki-Kin ending song clip. The moment I heard Tsuyoshi Domoto sang the first line, did I scream. I screamed, literally screamed.

Fujii Fumiya

He was singing Namida no Request, 涙のリクエスト, the song that Kimura sang in Pride, the TV series, to say goodbye to Yuko. Not only am I thrilled to hear it again, but to have Kinki Kids sing that song in their young voices along with Koichi's best friend Nagase...OMG, this made my day. Alright, alright, I've translated the lyrics for you so now you could understand what Kimura was singing about. The original singers were The Checkers with Fujii Fumiya as main vocalist. You could watch the Checkers versions here, plus a lot more of their videos in the 80's. (They disbanded already.) I've ripped a rough copy here from my Checkers concert.
