Johnny's Countdown 2006-2007

Recently at my forum, I have said all I wanted about their disharmony. I'm sure a lot of Tsuyoshi fans are upset. So be it. That's how I feel. If I don't say it, I'm not true to myself and my feelings. I don't intend to walk around eggshells. It's my forum. If I turn it into a Koichi mini section for lack of responses by Tsuyoshi fans and KK fans, that's fine too. There are enough Tsuyoshi forums and blogs out there. Someone has to stand up for Koichi fans who have their feelings suppressed for too long because there are more vocal Tsuyoshi fans throughout the net. This is not a war of Koichi only fan vs KK fans vs Tsuyoshi only fans. This is me as a webmistress who is being honest with what I see and I vocalize it. Many Koichi fans do not even dare say peep in forums because they bound to be swamped by Tsuyoshi defences. I am only saying that it is unprofessional for Tsuyoshi to walk off stage at the end of the Jan 1, 2007 concert without a proper goodbye. Period. As an artist, shouldn't thanking the audience be good manners? Can you imagine Tackey doing that in a T&T concert? or say, Kame walks off just like that from the Kat-Tun stage. Or to put it more severely, Kimura walks off like that.
Never mind the subsequent discussions of Koichi being stranded, feeling embarrassed or awkward...and defences of Tsuyoshi being emotional and true to himself etc etc....the rest are all conjectures. Just plain facts. Etiquette and the lack thereof.
I rewatched the SMAP concert and I continue to marvel at how much positive energy that group gives out, how happy the audience is, how happy I and my family are even just by watching them on a DVD. While Nakai's injury might have spurred Goro to look more charming and directly into the camera, and Shingo to lose weight to be alluring again, and Kimura to take the unusual lead in everything, SMAP as a group is incredibly positive. No wonder why the press name them the national treasure. Japan is lucky to have such a group.
On the other hand, the recent disharmony in Kinki Kids brings a lot of negative energy to my life. It's dipiladating to the spirit in a way. I have to go so much more deeper and extensively to find things to feel cheerful about. I scroll through over 15 sites and weblogs everyday to find something that is worthwhie to translate, to post, to make everyone happy, and only a handful seem to care. Their articles are not perky like the SMAP ones and not funny like Takeshi's. Perhaps I have misjudged this group afterall. Perhaps a-true-to-his-feelings and show-it-all-artist is just not my cup of tea and I have underestimated the negative energy such a personality exerts on a positive person like me. No wonder why my father always forbade me to date or marry artists. He told me that I in the end would suffer for their lack of stability and their unstable temperaments. Thank you, dad.
I shall now rename the mini forum as Koichi Domoto & Kinki Kids section just like my blog category.
