Alright, I do have the book of their first year's broadcast and when I'm in the mood, I'll try to translate it.  But this week I found some Koichi selections in print form in Chinese.  I'll upload only those with photos.  The rest are all Chinese characters and I wouldn't post those although I will translate them. Here is the first two pages. I've got one more section to translate.

This is Donnamonya collected episodes from 2001-2003, Koichi parts only. The preface to this section said that at times Koichi hosts the program by himself and it is very different from hosting it together with Tsuyoshi. When Tsuyoshi is there, Koichi is very relaxed as though he is hosting it at home.  When he hosts it by himself, he would be more tenacious about things.  Also when the two are together, Koichi would always be off topic but when he’s by himself, he is much more clearcut and handle the contents very well. In one word, a very cool big brother.

And also his topics often include himself and when he wants to address the audience, there are many topics of all varieties.  For example, once, for a certain festival topic, “If I have a daughter in future, the curfew would be 7 p.m. and I wouldn’t give her pocket money.” This is a topic that is very characteristic of Koichi.  In general, such words from him feels like instructional to the audience, but his gentle personality exudes and the listeners would not be bored or irritated. Plus he could fully express himself. This is actually a talent. Therefore, when Koichi conducts the program by himself, it is a totally different feeling, full of a different type of discovery and expectation.

2001 Jan

Last time at Donnamonya, Koichi said something like “when I sleep I like the feeling of iciness on my face and neck. Even if the weather is very cold, I wouldn’t turn on the heater and I would sleep naked.” If he doesn’t turn on the heater, I could understand but he doesn’t need to sleep naked.  Please don’t catch a cold.

This was this week’s postcard.  Of course it has to be naked! Once you are used to sleeping naked, when you are sleep with pajamas inside the covers, the pajamas would crumple up. That I dislike the most. Very strange? Would that be annoying? When you wear boxers and then wear jeans, wouldn’t the boxers be all crumpled up inside? The rationale for not wearing anything to bed follows the same logic! The same! Please try once to sleep naked. It would really feel very comfortable! Besides, the blankets in my home is changed into nice wooly warm ones during the winter! Wool is a good feel. Being naked under the blankets is really very comfortable! Besides sleeping naked is also very good for the body? Ah…but girls couldn’t do this. At least wear a panty. I heard that this is because they might be infected by bacteria, so they couldn’t be naked. Even if it is winter, as long as you hide inside the blankets, you wouldn’t feel cold.
